And the other parts needed for the 'unsmog' conversion have arrived!
The A/C idler pulley to replace the US spec air pump, and two non-US spec intake manifolds, so I can just swap manifolds instead of having to blank off all the air pump plumbing on mine.

Many of you will recognise the ritual by now: parcel inspection first...

When I was cleaning up my engine and especially the V-valley I achieved very good results using WD40 Degreaser spray and my Dremel with a steelbrush-head.

I haven't done my inlet manifolds, yet, they are not that dirty, but I'll try out soon.

Dishwashers make for an amazing parts cleaners, used one on a lot of super oily and gunky stuffs and parts come out spotless

Pim, forgot to mention it but you ought to use either LEDs or low amp bulbs in these rear fog lights, definitely not what Jag used originally which will burn out the chrome lenses and melt cases on longer runs. They are as bad as 40 front ones.
