Correct battery size?

Postby mikegamble » Wed Nov 10, 2021 6:16 pm

Battery has just died on the car and realised it’s the incorrect one anyway.
Trying to order or for tomorrow but can’t don’t the correct size!
It’s an ‘89 4.0 Daimler if that makes any difference?

The most important thing is to make sure it fits the tray. As regards makes Varta or Yusa are good

Unfortunately I need the size.
Working all day and want to head off for the NEC when I finish work but, I’ll need to pick the battery up during the day or, on the way home.

What Chris meant was to always check your battery tray size and simply buy largest capacity one, quick google suggests you'll need 242x175x190 mm B13 battery.

I know. Unfortunately I’m approximately 60 miles away from the car and won’t be next to it until this evening when I need to have the battery

The measurements Katar has given are the same as my battery under the bonnet model. I bought a Yusa 027 with a good spec for £69.99 off EBay
