Did the car sale go through ok?

It did indeed. A little bizarre as sales go and unfortunately not quite the character I’d have liked the car to have sold to. I’m not sure a buyer willing to throw the £10k+ it needed in bodywork at it exists so it is what it is really.

I am toying with the idea of getting another next year, in good working and cosmetic order, to partake in the planned Euro trip but will have to see nearer the time.

I suspect it’ll get parted out. Let’s just put it this way - no inspection was made, it was simply loaded up and the new owner didn’t even come in to fill in the V5 or take any of the paperwork, history file or spare keys with it.

Ok. It’s the most likely outcome on this price range I suppose. A sad end to the saga. They can’t all survive though, and there’s always another one.
