I have put my Daimler XJ40 back up on ebay at a low starting price as there were no bids at what I considered a reasonable starting price but many lookers and no bids. I would like to see this car go to a good home as it is to good to be scrapped as a trade in under the scrappage scheme where it is valued at £2000 against some new tin.

If it were my car, I’d put more pictures of it finished and a link to the pictures of the work taking place. I’m sure she’s a great looking car and will be a bargain for someone, but people buy with their eyes. I only expect your car to be so good because I’m aware of it through this forum, rather than because your advert ‘sells it’ to me, if you see what I mean.

Good luck with the sale
Regards, Carl

Wow so much work gone into the car, hope someone sees it for what it really is, a car that has had all the hard graft done and just wants a bit of fettling, good luck with it Ivan.
