Hi Leo, I recently bought a first aid kit like yours. I'd also like to source the 'divider' you have on the left hand side of your boot - is this a Jaguar part?

Thanks for taking the time to look that out Leo. Can't be many of those around.

I've enjoyed this thread - I purchased a copy of the accessories brochure just the other day. My cousin has an X308 which came with the same first aid kit - our wives stared in amazement as we discussed the origin of the kit, most likely from the owners previous car. Real geek stuff!

Our XJ40 has been nestled in the garage for over a year now after having the body restored and repainted. We used it for our wedding last year but we never got around to putting the boot carpets back in after I'd taken them out to clean them. I bought the first aid kit as a nice accessory to add when we put it all back together in a few weeks.

A Jaguar, with a little more added practicality?

Easy to stain carpet.

Now, not so easy to stain?

I have looked out for one of these for years! Only just got hold of this now.
You have to unclip the tool box elastic though when fitting it. But there is space for the toolkit still.

Anyone who can find one! I think I have been looking in the region of 8 years?
I bet they were expensive new, so dealers likeky didn’t sell too many to begin with?
I think a couple of forum members have them?
Maybe someone is willing to let one go?

They fit for all model year XJ40, though to me this one looks to be designed for a late model/ battery in boot.

Well, believe it or NOT, I discovered one of those plastic trays that Bakers use to carry the likes of Bread and Buns in, fitted perfectly ! (I've still got it, just in case ... ) ;)

True enough, very true. In fact the "real" thing cannot be beaten, only imitated ... In my opinion. ;)
