The accumulator arrived this afternoon so I’ll drop that down the garage tomorrow morning.
Whilst we’ve been waiting for it to arrive, I’ve asked the garage to clean off the underside and then lag in waxoyl or something similar.
I want her to be in regular use but, I don’t want the Cornish sea air to take its toll on the car, too quickly!!

I’ve had the car back for a few days and am loving her. We’ve used her on a couple of family days out and has driven lovely.
I’m concocting a list of ‘to do’ which seem to be getting bigger daily!
However, top of the list is to sort out the drivers seat, all the motors work apart from the seat forward and backwards and, I need to sort the boot out, I’ve put the new bung in but, there’s still water/condensation (?) getting in from somewhere? However, the top job is sorting out a warning light that popped on last night on the way home. The electrical ‘lightening’ symbol. Any obvious things to check first before I dig deep or, take her back to the garage!
My target is to get her perfect for June when I’m going to take her to France. Hopefully that’s a realistic timescale!!!

A blown fuse (or poor connection).
Definitely check that first.

In my experience, that electrical lightening bolt symbol has always been a fuse.

I normally get it on reconnecting the battery, the central locking fuse goes for some reason?

I’ve been a bit snowed under with work and Christmas prep but, I’ve investigated and it’s come back as a blown fuse on the right hand side fuse box; A5 - cooling fan and air con clutch.
I obviously need to work out what caused it to blow but, I’ve popped a new fuse in and started the car but, the symbol is still illuminated on the dash - the fuse hasn’t blown again so, how do I clear the dash?

It’s likely more than one fuse has blown.
Check them all to be sure.
Or a fuse may have a poor contact.

I did check and there were no other blown fuses. However, I’ll see if there are any others blown in the other fuse boxes.
I did note that the contacts weren’t fantastic so, I may get a fibre pen and clean up all the fuse pin surfaces.
Just to double check, essentially if the blown fuse is replaced, the fault light should automatically go out - it’s doesn’t need clearing in any other manner?

Yes, it should go out automatically.
I would replace any fuses that have corroded spares. New fuses are very cheap. On some of my cars I replaced all of them to ensure reliable electrics.
