Postby kabeir » Fri Jan 17, 2020 11:12 pm

So I changed the Thermostat and I was able to get heat, today the car was at normal temperature. and the front vents were blowing cold. and the rear vent is blowing hot. I have no Idea what is causing this and if anyone knows how to fix it, let me know

It sounds like the blend flaps are not operating within the HVAC (Hester box on the middle of the dash that houses the heater Matrix and Evaporator).

There are illustrations on this site somewhere showing the operation.,

One time I had this issue, the fault was traced to the climate control ECU.

I found out its the actuators, and due to the fact that it is hidden all the way up on the top. I need to survive till my other car comes back

More proof why one Jaguar is never enough.
You may be able to access the upper blend flap motor by removing the instrument cluster.
One of mine is stuck there too come to think of it (but it only gets summer use, so it’s no problem).
