D513 NBU is back in land of living

D513 NBU is back in land of living

well you go for the MOT and sorry steve its failed hmmm what for now i ask

well you see the front pads are worn and need replacing ( haha i think no problem got those may as well let him fit them)

Then but this is the real failure off we trot to car and up on ramp he gets screw driver rear mount for the bush pokes five holes in metal all around it. ( that was not nice i say bully)

did not have the time to weld it so asked the imortal question how much ( sits down so dont fall over) £80 he says ( do it i say)

now has fresh new MOT new frount breaks and new welded rear mounting points he did both sides

total for work mot and welding £180 what a bargin there are strill nice garages out there that dont charge the earth and will work on a old car.

His son did tell me though there were quite a few choice words and other mutterings coming from under the car as he welded it :)

Nice to remember the a bit of welding isn't the end of the world with these, if you get a decent person.

Good to see another saved.

I think any 40 that has not had or does not need any welding by now, is truly exception.
So most of them will have never do need.
It's not much to get it through the mot. So well done.
