Gearbox swap

Postby Per » Tue Nov 17, 2020 4:29 pm

All, I can get a box (auto) from a 3.2 locally, known to be good. But does it fit the 3.6? It is from a complete parts car so I can get any other parts needed including diff.

Hi Per, do you have access to a Haynes manual?

Both cars should have same gearbox ZF 4HP22, I suppose its possible that some of the connectors might be slightly different but the box itself should be the same both in your 3.6 and 3.2 auto.
