am not sure what the colour denotes exactly, but the stuff i use is orange coloured. i use Havoline/ Texaco coolant and it has a 5 year lifetime, according to the blurb. been using this in the rangie too for past few years. no problems to report. http://www.havoline.com/products/na/antifreeze.html i...

yes, thats very true. 40s not know for there water tightness. again like so many modifications, most of them aren't strictly a necessary thing, but folk like to make their cars there own, and attempt to improve them, and it gives us something to natter about on here too. but they will never be to ev...

ah, thats a shame. well i think they are missing a trick there to actually make worth while modification. am sure if you are brave enough, you could cut hole to size, so all that nice scooped cold air could actually in inhaled by the engine? this would be especially good on a V12 with twin air filte...

wow, i have never seen those before. i take it they scoop in cold air to and open ended K&N style filter, instead of the normal closed filter box?
or do they have a custom air box to match the scoop?

is it not possible to remove the bulb from the dash, if its merely a matter of passing the mot, with a car you don't want the ABS on? maybe easily that soldering in resistors and the like? just a thought.

yes, it is tempting to keep buying the same car, when its right there, and they are so cheap. how many duplicates of the same car is it silly to have? hmmm, as many as you can fit in your drive/ garage/ friends drive/ garage, parents drive/ garage.......

funny how someone can spend £5 converting to diesel, for the sole purpose of "saving money". how long would you have to drive to even recoup that cost! hes obviously never heard of LPG. would have cost a third of that to convert to gas. it upsets me a bit when i see cars neglected like thi...

does the car run at normal temperature? if not check the thermostat and coolant temperature sender (front of engine). does it idle at normal 700rpm? any smoke whilst running? we dont use Lt/KM over here (though we probably should), but am sure some maths boffins can work it out. but you should be ge...
