sadly , this is one of the worst jobs to do on the V12, not because of any technical reason , but because of the corrosion the differing metals cause at the union of the pipe and the cooler, if you can get it undone on the car there wont be much thread left to reinstate , you may have to pull the wh...

just throwing this out there,
i wonder if the crank case breather pipe is blocked, causing positive crank case pressure to build and cause the engine to stall??

doesn't explain the glowing Cats though
