Re: XJ40.com merchandise

Club shop would be a great thing, but realistically would it be a worthwhile thing? Not just merchandise but spring compressor hire etc. I've had a wad of business card style cards made up with the forum logo and a wee blurb on them that I've started putting in with anything sold on the bay of fleas...

Re: The two together ...

Oh we've all been there, mine was the park switch which was clogged up with previous overs fag ash. Lovely pair and a very good number plate to boot!

Re: The Register Thread

I know a lot of cars were sent to the US and it historically is a big market for Jaguar, just how many of them ended up being exported? I suppose the European vehicles would fall victim to rust, well the wetter countries at least. The drier countries maybe see more of them clinging on but inevitably...

Re: L399GYP 1993 3.2S

Unfortunately not Naki, when ever I found one in stock it would either be the later x300 or NLA, the one that jaguar now lists has the sunstrip across the top that costs about 400. This is from a company in Leeds and cost about 250 afaik, equivalent to BEC1011. A lesson to be learned there, when the...

Re: L399GYP 1993 3.2S

We have a windscreen! 20191102_085637.jpg 7 hour round trip to collect it this morning from Glasgow, still an infuriating amount of tourist traffic on the run back home  Anyway I did have a smile at the Series 4 label, Nigel Thorley informs me that was often a term used in America. Anyway a tr...

Re: Daimler XJ40 4.0

Now that is a lovely looking beast. There are a few colours that never seemed to age as well as other but this is certainly not one of them. What a little gem you have there. I hope you're enjoying getting to know this one, hopefully nothing major to battle with.
