...using an German car? I was actually considering the Lightweight, would be good fun on the Autobahn with its 55 mph (downhill, both tanks full) top speed...  Ok, you are forgiven. Re: XJ40s in Germany

7 hours from Dunkerque should do it. We normally use 10 hours to get home, and Jork is 3 hours drive from us. See, that’s high level maths ! Anne-Marie and I will participate, so I have just send a mail to info@faehrhaus-kirschenland.de to book a room. I guess they get a good laugh as I did it in Ge...

Re: Correct fuel? 98 super?

The 95 E10 has just been introduced in Denmark, and it’s going to replace the 95 E10. Lists of which cars are compatible is therefore published, and ‘all models from 1992’ is what is stated for Jaguar. 1992 was also the first year with catalysts on all cars, so I suppose that is just the easy answer...

Re: Sill and wheel arch repair

Thanks all @Naki: Great to hear that sill profile can be found. There will be photos when I started, but it is basically 4 x 10 inches of sill + ends, that needs attention, and when I start digging I’m sure I’ll find more. I have already poked a hole in the LH sill end, But it’s the rear ends I fear...
